Christmas 2009

 

Well, another year older and deeper in debt, not really… but that song is still a great one. I had a nice holiday season, hope you did too. Didn’t do very much, but we did put up a tree!

All I’ve got to say is… they better do something about this ‘Trader/Traitor Nation’ and somehow stop all this short-term thinking. It’s bad enough I have to live with tree sap up my ass now for a while…

 

I’ve certainly had enough of the market’s insanity.

May 23, 2009  Memorial Day Weekend

Trip to Bethlehem, PA

 

It seemed like a good idea, so ‘they’ took me on a Road Trip to try out the new Sands Casino in Bethlehem, PA.

I had never been there before and was totally shocked by the size and scope of those steel mills. You would think someone could have come up with a better way to use the buildings instead of turning them into a casino. Oh well, guess no one really wants to fix our economy.

The Holiday Inn had a pool, but I really wanted to use the outdoor spa.

Duh! The stupid spa wasn’t ready for the season! Why me? I did meet and make a new friend,

but he didn’t have too much to say.

We all went out to celebrate Memorial Day at iHop, and I had the Red, White & Blue special.

Love those pancakes almost as much as I love them donuts. Every place we went to was busy and there were no shortages of customers. What recession?

Trip to Paradise Island. Nassau, Bahamas:

 

Here I am at the airport waiting to board my jetBlue flight. They better have pillows on that plane.

No pillows, and they made me pay a $1.00 because I forgot my headphones.

I should short the damn stock! I really wanted to go to the beach,

but ‘they’ wouldn’t let me. Better off, I have a real issue about getting sand off of my antlers.
